Why Our Stem Cells

The stem cell product our company carries is only derived from umbilical  cord-derived regenerative medicine products. This causes no pain for the  patient as there is no extraction or procedure required to obtain the  stem cell based product.Our product contains no known  proteins that can cause a rejection in your body or your patient. Research has shown  that umbilical cord derived stem cells are NOT SUSCEPTIBLE TO MALIGNANT TRANSFORMATION in a serum free medium.  This makes our product safe for therapeutic use in patients.  

What are Stem Cells

 These are  unspecialized cells in our bodies that have the capacity to change into any healthy cell in our body. They can change into skin, bones,  heart and muscle cells just to name a few. They have the ability to replicate  substantially as compared to normal somatic cells such as skin. Stem cells are located throughout our body in almost every organ and tissue such as bone marrow, fat, teeth, muscles, etc. 

Stem Cell Uses

Doctors are using stem cell therapy to treat a wide array of medical  diseases & disorders along with traumas.  The most common use of stem cells is in the field of orthopedics.  Stem cells can help deter surgical requirements in years prior such as knee replacement, torn cartilage or micro-fracture surgery.  In addition, they improve the functionality of joints following injury.  Our stem cells have the ability to migrate and target specific tissues. This  property called "homing" is an event that allows cells to migrate from a  remote area in the body to find a damaged organ or tissue in a specific  site. Homing is the mechanism by which stem cells are infused intravenously and reach the affected areas of the body to perform its regenerative functions. 

Stem Cells Come from four places

Umbilical cord tissue: This is the safest and least-invasive method of extraction available. This is where our stem cells come from.

Embryonic tissue:  Most embryonic stem cells (human embryonic stem cells, or hESCs) are derived from embryos donated from fertility clinics that perform in  vitro fertilization, or IVF.  This is one of the most controversial ways to gather stem cells.

Bone marrow:  Adult stem cells can be extracted from bone marrow by aspiration, typically harvested from the superior iliac crest or the sternum. This process may be painful and the stems cells are age & health dependent upon the patient.  

Adipose tissue:  Adipose-derived stem cells come from a patient’s fat tissue, which is  surgically extracted via liposuction under general anesthesia.  These stem cells cannot be injected by IV.
